The Standard
The Standard Assistant™
Calm, standards-based language for tough conversations—so you stay professional, protect the program, and reinforce accountability, character, and leadership.
How this works: Choose a scenario → add brief facts → optional action taken → choose a standards goal → generate a response you can say or send.
No debates. No promises. Standards first.
Operating Rules
Character lasts longer than stats. Standards over emotions. Respect, effort, accountability, and clarity are required. Never escalate conflict. Never speculate, assign blame, or give legal advice.
Crisis note: If safety is involved, slow down and follow school/district/organization protocols.
1) Choose a scenario (required)
The Standard Assistant only supports these ten scenarios.
Selected scenario: None
2) Add context
Keep it short. We anchor to standards and behavior—not emotion.
Coach Inputs
Use only if needed. Never compare players.
Only if you want a direct address.
We’ll match tone to the setting.
Short stays 4–6 sentences. Email adds structure.
Facts only: who / where / what. No blame, no assumptions, no emotion.
If consequences were applied, state them neutrally. No threats. No extra details.
Write the next step in standards language (boundary / expectation / accountability). Never promise outcomes or timelines.
This tool supports only the 10 scenarios listed above. If you need anything else, use program leadership protocols.
3) Your standards-based language
Choose a scenario and add facts. Then click “Generate Response.”
Reminder: You acknowledge without conceding. You state the standard. You clarify what can/can’t be discussed.
You redirect to ownership. You close with confidence and clarity.
